Review:A real sleeper is the 2005 La Granacha - Signarques, 100% Grenache from relatively old vines. Unfined and unfiltered with virtually no SO2, 90% of this wine was kept in tank and 10% in old foudres. It is an amazing bargain, deep ruby/purple with wonderfully sweet blackberry and cherry fruit as well as kirsch-like fruit with licorice, spice, and a bit of a floral note. The wine is opulent, full-bodied, and a fabulous bargain. Drink it over the next 4-5 years.
