Gorgeous aromas of chocolate and berries. Medium-bodied, with soft tannins and a fresh finish. Pretty. Always a very good Merlot. Best after 2005. 600 cases made. –JS


With this wine classified as a “supertuscan” produced in small quantities from 6 – 7000 bottles per year, Casa Emma wanted to create a “Top class” that expresses the best qualities of Merlot cultivated in these lands exposed magnificantly south – west and rich in Galestro. A pure Merlot therefore it has a generous odour characterized above all by memories of mature fruit, sensational herh and a lingering finale of soft chocolate.
