Review:There is no doubting the 2001 Senorio de Cuzcurrita, also 100% Tempranillo, aged 12 months in French oak. Purple-colored, it offers a much more expressive nose of toast, spice, clove, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. Full-bodied, with layers of opulent blue and black fruits, it has beautiful integration of oak, alcohol, tannin, and acidity, all leading to a pure, 45-second finish.
