Review:Performing better this year than it did in 2004, the brilliant 2003 is one of the top wines of the Margaux appellation. Its saturated purple color is accompanied by a sumptuous perfume of charcoal, graphite, blackberries, and blueberries. Layered, medium to full-bodied, with terrific precision, surprising freshness as well as vigor for a wine from this vintage, and plenty of tannin, depth, and length, it should be at its best between 2008-2022.
