Barrel aged in 80% new French barrels, 20% two-year-old French andAmerican, selected individual barrels for the blend. Aromas of clove, black cherry, plum and chocolate lead to a velvety sweet entry. Rich fruit flavors, good structure with round tannins with a supple, long finish.

Hand-selected from premium vineyards in Russian River Valley, the 2005 Calcaire exemplifies the crisp, fresh fruit flavors that make cool climate Chardonnay so appealing. Brilliant, silver-straw yellow in color, this Chardonnay exhibits generous citrus-laced aromas of apple blossom and pear, with a hint of spicy roasted oak that develops in the glass. The wine’s firm structure and rich, creamy palate delivers flavors of ripe pear and apple with a splash of refreshing lemon and lime. Although ready to drink now, the vibrant acidity of this wine will reward additional cellar aging.

Sleepy Hollow Vineyard® consistently produces Chardonnay fruit with intense tropical fruit character and minerality, exhibiting both richness and finesse. To further enhance quality, winemaker and vineyard manager Sam Balderas keeps yields low to increase concentration, and minimizes the handling of the wine to preserve the fruit’s natural essence. Selected from distinctive blocks of the acclaimed Sleepy Hollow Vineyard, the fruit for this wine is 100 percent barrel fermented in French oak and aged a minimum of 12 months on the lees to achieve a rich, toasty, complex character.

The 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful wine with great finesse. This wine is a deep, glowing garnet color with a concentrated nose of dark chocolate, black tea and ripe, juicy blackberry and boysenberry fruit accompanied by toffee, caramel, and licorice flavors on the palate. With a delicious, concentrated fruit entry, ripe, showy tannins and a long finish, this wine will continue to improve with age.

The color is purple, ruby red, with aromas of blueberry, cassis and mocha. The entry on the palette is rich and fruit forward, with jammy flavors, good structure, acidity, and sweet balanced tannins that leave an elegant finish.

A classic Rutherford Cab with full violet-ruby color and distinctive local aromas of black cherry, dark olive and mineral, combined with hints of smoky oak and blackberry. The fine flavors echo the nose. Medium acidity and body plus supple tannins. With a fine balance between alcohol, fruit and tannin, this young wine already drinks well and will support 6-10 years aging.

Napanook is a blend of the Bordeaux varietals coming from vineyard lots chosen for their finesse, lively fruit and subtle tannins. The goal is to find the perfect equilibrium between these elements, creating a wine that is harmonious and, of course, pleasurable to drink.

Behler Vineyard, their estate vineyard in the heart of Sonoma Valley, provides the majority of grapes for this rich, flavorful Chardonnay. Hand picked fruit at its peak is fermented in French oak barrels. The finished wine has a bouquet of tropical and exotic fruits fragrant with new oak and vanilla. On the palate, the fruit flavors are fully concentrated, and the texture is rich and buttery, supported by balanced acidity and concentrated mouthfeel.
