Produced at first growth Chateau Guiraud, one of the leading estates in Sauternes. The estate is directly adjacent to the famous Chateau d'Yquem, where winemaker Xavier Planty spent one year learning the secrets of Sauternes vinification.  Deliciously sweet, with a fat texture, spicy new oak and complex botrytis character ( and at a fraction of the cost of d'Yquem! ).
