An animated and bright nose showing flashes of black pepper and stone fruits. Rich and full bodied on the palate with flavours of blackcurrant, anise and mixed spice. The palate is multilayered and finishes with supple tannin.
The wine has a sumptuous aroma revealing deep chocolate, raisins, pepper and a hint of earthiness. With a sweet fruit and a beautiful texture, its massive structure explodes in your mouth with spicy licorice fruit flavors and a lovely vanillan oak.
The Dead Arm gets its name in a fairly inauspicious way – it is named after the disease (Eutypa Lata) which afflicts some of the oldest vines at d’Arenberg from which we get the majority of fruit destined for The Dead Arm.

A dense ruby/purple colour. It possesses layers of dried spice, coffee, blackcurrant and the wine displays fullness, freshness and seamless oak integration.
Dark ruby coloured, the nose has hints of liquorice, cherry, liqueur and earthy leathery notes. The palate is dense while showing lively hints of truffle, espresso and a lively mineral finish.
