Royal Salute is an exceptional blend of rare whiskies. Royal Salute was created by the Chivas Brothers, the makers Chivas Reagal, to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.

Distilled at our distillery in Speyside, this legendary Single malt is carefully matured for a minimum of 30 years. The unique combination of Bourbon and Sherry oak casks produces a particularly smooth, delicate and light whiskey. This whiskey is rich , exotic, heady and aromatic and has the flavors of macadamia nut and vanilla with hints of sandalwood and black cherry. It is soft, silky and extremely elegant on finish.

So well knitted... The most oaky and least floral of the range. But age and particular selection of casks has achieved a distinguished maturity, almost intimidating. Sherry notes give an additional depth to the distillery character and cakey sweetness. Aromas are perfectly melted especially when enjoyed without water. Wood is well integrated but firmly frames the aromatic palate.
FINISH: Everlasting, Warming, Nutty, Toasted hazelnuts. A full layer of liquorice.

As the eye takes in the dark, russet color of the 15 Year Old, the nose anticipates the rich sweet smell of the sherry casks used to mature this old style Springbank. The anticipation is rewarded as you pull the stopper and the sherry aromas drift out. However, the sweet nose on this dram only begins to suggest the full range of flavors which emerge on the palate; dark chocolate, figs, marzipan, brazil nuts and vanilla all mingle to Dramatic effect! A truly classic Springbank that is perhaps best enjoyed after-dinner or with your favorite cigar.

The Glenlivet 15 year old Single Malt is creamy, rich, smooth oakiness and has a sweet tooth character with a refreshing nutty style. This is a whisky of structure and complexity.

The Macallan 21 Year Old Fine Oak Single Malt is intensely rich with aroma and contains the hints of oranges and peat. Matured in combination of Bourbon and Sherry Oak casks, the whisky produces a particularly smooth, delicate and light taste with lingering hints of wood smoke.

The 10 Year Old is the perfect introduction to the Springbank range. Whilst bourbon casks are mainly used for maturation, allowing the distillery character to shine through, a number of sherry casks are also used for added body. The light colour of this malt belies the richness of its character. Whilst the nose suggests a wide range of aromas, from citrus fruits to pears and a hint of peat, the palate excites even further with a touch of smoke, vanilla essence, nutmeg, cinnamon and the salty tang we have come to expect from Springbank.
