An unusual vintage of Lytton Springs, this has a distinctive coolness to the fruit, partly expressed as a foresty flavor, and partly in a refreshing edge that recalls kiwi or peach. Peppery and purely zin, this would be delicious with the teriyaki ribs at Oolah in San Francisco.

Dark ruby red color with supple, mouth filling tannins that offer lively acid structure and an elegant balance.  Classic currant, plum and sweet oak aromas lead to ripe berries, cherry, and spicy flavors with a long, sweet and juicy finish.

This wine combines sites that have produced Zinfandel for over a century with newer sites that utilize proprietary clones and the most advanced viticultural practices. The Seghesio Sonoma Zinfandel has been included on the Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the World three times.

Head-trained, dry farmed old vines are again the source for Bogles Old Vine Zinfandel. These gnarly old vines produce concentrated fruit of unsurpassed quality and intensity. This supple and mouth-filling vintage leads with juicy blueberry and ripe blackberry fruit. Black pepper and hints of chocolate notes integrate well with this soft, plush body. Subtle hints of spicy oak and pipe tobacco create structure, allowing this wine to stand up to a variety of fare. This is the perfect wine to pair with everything from rich sauces and unique dishes, to your favorite weeknight take-out.

The 2005 vintage is very exciting and youthful. This wine has a medium body with the same light tannins. The visual presence is a beautiful crisp ruby color. Aromas consist of sweet cherries, blackberries & raspberries. There are nice black currant flavors along with brambly briery fruit.
