Review:The 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon “Bakery Hill” was aged in seasoned French and American oak. It is purple-colored with an impressive aromatic array of cedar, scorched earth, black currant and blackberry. This leads to a medium-bodied, forward wine with a supple texture, intense black fruit flavors, excellent balance, and good underlying structure. The finish is long and pure. This sensational value totally over-delivers for its humble price point. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
